The greatest school in the valley

This is my first year teaching high school. I moved from my 13 year middle-school comfort zone, because I wanted the opportunity to work under a principal who is, and always been, seriously revered in the valley. I'd heard the rumor that he would be be retiring at the end of the year, and I wanted the chance to see him in action, so I made a career adjustment. My First Blog

I have always wanted to do this. Someday I want to live for a whole year on only food I have grown and products I have made, and then blog about it. Maybe they would make a movie about me called Laurie and Thoreau, like Julie and Julia. Probably not, though. Doesn't have the same ring.
