Leading By Example, in the 21st Century...

Beginning my first LCP - and this is my working "Burning Question" at the moment.

"How do I encourage dialogue in my classroom?"

I am thinking that I will need to focus it a bit - it seems pretty broad at the moment. Thoughts?

Eric, I didn't see you post anything on the other page. Did you decide which part of history you are going to use dialog in? Are you going to have each kid have 3 chips--each worth 10 points or something? I can't remember what other ideas I gave you. My 8th graders always liked the fishbowl exercise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fishbowl_%28conversation%29 or Thinking Hats: http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newTED_07.htm
